The CPT Editorial Panel, appointed by the AMA’s board of trustees, is comprised of 17 members, including 11 physicians nominated by the national medical specialty societies; one physician each nominated from the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, the America's Health Insurance Plans, the American Hospital Association, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services; one Performance Measures representative (formerly a managed care seat), and two members of the CPT Health Care Professionals Advisory Committee (cochair and one member at large). With the exception of one year, radiology has always been represented on this panel. Duszak is actively involved with numerous coding publications, lectures, and courses. He is the ACR liaison to the Radiology Coding Certification Board, the organization responsible for the establishment and maintenance of the only radiology-specific coding certification examination. He currently serves as a full-time diagnostic and interventional radiologist at Mid-South Imaging and Therapeutics in Memphis. Source: American College of Radiology
